My Strengthes
Remarkable physical and mental endurance
I demonstrated extraordinary discipline, mental resilience, and long-term goal-setting ability by independently training and preparing for a full marathon while managing academic and extracurricular responsibilities. As long as I set goals, achieving it is not the hardest part of the journey.
Strong leadership and team collaboration
Swimming and water polo are my favorite sports. Taking both as athlete electives at MHS, I get to know a lot of friends. They love to hing out with me because I always have ideas on activities. As a results, I was elected as captain of water polo team this year. I am confident that I can lead the team to achieve better scores in games by praticing harder, encouraging them, and caring the team.
Excellent time management ability
One of the tricks to efficiently manage time is to avoid social media. I have swimming practices everyday, swimming and water-polo games in weekend, club commitments, marathon training, and five AP courses in my Junior. I don't have time for social media. I need to plan them ahead on my calenda and work hard to meet requirements and deadlines. When conflicts occur, I need to prioritize events based on long-term goals over short-term ease.
Self-motivated and growth-focused
I love to be challendged in school-work, so I took five APs in my junior and another five in my senior year. I love kids, so I voluntered as kids teacher during summer in my church and babysitting in my neighborhood. I love to run, so I finished 2025 San Fransisco Marathon in July and registered 2026 Houston Marathon. I love swimming, ao I took swimming and water-polo for four years in MHS. I guess I am totally motivated by my own interests.
